Nursing care of population groups and communities using the concepts and principles from public health and other related fields in the biological, behavioral, social, environmental, and epidemiological sciences to address current public health problems, trends, and issues affecting the public health nursing practice. In the context of global and local health systems and socio-economic and cultural realities of society, this course highlights the population-based practice towards strengthening community competence and better health outcomes.
