Course Description: The principles of research proposal development, biostatistics and research ethics.
General Learning Outcomes of the Course:
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Identify different research methods and parts of a sound research proposal;
- Apply the components, concepts and principles of research methods, biostatistics and research ethics in developing a proposal for scientific investigations;
- Present a concept paper on an approved research topic;
Prepare a draft research proposal on an approved research topic using the principles of research methods, biostatistics and research ethics.
