Pre-requisites:

Chem 18, Chem 18.1, and Math 17 or equivalent

At the end of the course, the student must be able to:

  1. discuss information about inorganic substances used in pharmacy;
  2. identify inorganic compounds based on qualitative procedures in the USP/NF;
  3. describe chemical properties of inorganic substances through chemical reactions;
  4. demonstrate proper techniques in doing qualitative analysis;
  5. solve problems that may arise upon doing experiment; and,
  6. present the results of the experiment to the class properly.
