To introduce students the basic concepts and principles of informatics as applied to health and in
the practice of Midwifery.
Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will:
CO 1 : Apply the basic concepts and principles of health informatics in providing safe, quality, and comprehensive care management to various clients in the clinics and communities. (PLO 2)
CO 2 : Demonstrate the critical roles of information technologies in improving communication affecting midwifery practice to individuals, families, and communities in various setting. (PLO 3)
CO 3 : Embrace responsibility to upgrade self on issues and trends in health informatics as one of the means in personal and professional development. (PLO 9)
