Ecology of human diseases and epidemiologic methods
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Discuss the evolution and relevance of epidemiology in public health
- Apply appropriate techniques and tools in (a) measuring the distribution of health and disease, and (b) identifying factors that contribute to the occurrence of health and disease
- Apply epidemiologic principles in the identification of disease prevention and control strategies that are appropriate for a given health problem
